"My experience at EIU could not have been better. While in the classroom, I got to learn from amazing, engaging faculty who helped build my skills and confidence, and outside of the classroom, I got to be part of an amazing community and make lifelong memories."Joshua NorthamUndeclared Majors | Class of 2026
Haven't picked a major yet? No problem! At EIU, we don't expect all students to arrive on campus knowing exactly what they want to study, and we welcome and support students who haven't quite gotten to the point of committing to a degree path. In fact, undecided is the most popular major for incoming freshmen. Selecting a major is serious business ... but that doesn't mean you've made a mistake by not knowing yours yet.
