• Homecoming Weekend (Oct. 22-24, 2026) is the main feature. Activities include:

  • Homecoming Parade
  • Billy's Backyard Tailgate

• Viewpoints Webinar: Finding Your Voice

  • Scheduled for Sept. 17, 2026.
  • Features Bradi O'Rourke, an EIU alumna and founder of Braxy Speech Therapy, discussing her journey from graduate student to entrepreneur.
    
    

• Alumni Association Membership Drive

  • Alumni are encouraged to join or renew their membership in the EIU Alumni Association.
  • Renewals completed by Sept. 28 receive a complimentary Alumni Association koozie while supplies last.
    
    

• Tarble Museum of Art

  • The Tarble Museum of Art announced its fall exhibition schedule, featuring local history, contemporary art, and stories from across the U.S. and Central America.

• Degree Completion Program

  • EIU's Interdisciplinary Studies program is for adults who left college before earning a degree, opening up pathways for those with prior college credits and life/professional experience.
    
    

• Alumni Travel Opportunity

  • A Greek Isles and Ephesus voyage aboard Le Lapérouse is planned for Sept. 14-22, 2027, in partnership with Gohagan Travel.
